Google Docs to get Offline access Service ?

Google docs

Google is thinking to release offline access to its much popular service Google Docs. The biggest weakness of Google Docs is that you cannot use and access or edit your documents when your offline. So without internet you still tend to use programs such as MS office or Open office. Even Google knows this ! How ever at a recent event at Google I/O conference Sundar pichai – Vice president of Google Chrome hinted that they are internally using a Offline version of Google Docs and are making sure its does well, and will be releasing it in near future.

Offline support to Google docs was possible using Google Gears, but was discontinued due to some Technical reasons. But now with release of Chrome OS and Enabled Chromebooks, the company has to speculate with future needs and requirements to stay ahead in the market. Believing in Internet as the One big  future way for Interaction, company also has to work on backup aspects for its services where there is no internet presence. It would be great if Google is able to maintain the same User experience when it ports a Offline Access to one of its Highly used Online Service [Google Docs].
