“iPad2 is not Tablet Killer its Just Upgrade to iPad1!” Chek it out Why?
With The release of iPad2 , the war has Begin that is “The Tablet War” with more and more Big manufactures Jumping into Hand Held Sector , Competition to be the leader of this BOOM BOOM sector in future is Growing Heavily.
What makes us say That its Just a Much Hyped Upgrade to iPad 1 is that , the most anticipated and most wanted features are missing.
Whats Missing in iPad2 ?
1. Bigger Screen Size and Retina Display , which is There in iPhone 4. Retina Display is the name given by Apple to the high-resolution screen technology introduced on the iPhone 4 in June 2010. By increasing the number of pixels on screen, Retina Display offers 326 pixels per inch, which Apple claims is the same as the human eye and makes it impossible to distinguish individual pixels, leading to a much-higher definition image on the screen.
2. No SD card Slot and USB port , Thats what disappoint most of us the most, In an ERA of removable storage cards and USB connectivity Universally accepted and implemented in most of the devices , its not acceptable that why Apple is Continuously Ignoring this Two Features.
3. Earlier this year Reports About Apple Bringing NFC (Near Field Communication) Technolgy to iPad 2, But Not yet. NFC is a technology that allows mobile users to use their devices as a digital wallet. The technology enables users to pay for retail goods or services such as transit rides by waving their handsets across a reader. This Was accepted because a update to iPad 2 from iPad 1Â , was not thinkable on terms of small changes.
4. The “ThunderBolt Connectivity” – developed by Intel and Apple in collaboration for Mac Book Pro. Intel recently announced the availability of Thunderbolt technology, a new high-speed PC connection technology that brings together high-speed data transfer and high-definition (HD) display on to a single cable. Running at 10Gbps, Thunderbolt technology can transfer a full-length HD. Every buyer of iPad 2 was expecting this , But Disappointed!
5. No Official Information on Ram Upgrade and Camera specifications , only one thing mentioned at the release was , the rear camera will record HD videos at 30 fps! , Most of the Other tablets in market Boast Cameras More then 2 Megapixel and Ram upto 1 Gb, We accepted Ram upgrade Because the New Apple iOs 4.2 with More multitasking Features Needs More Memory for optimal Performance.
6. The Last but not least , How can you miss the Super-fast 4g Connectivity On a So called upgraded and Superior Device, When The 4G technology is already present On iPhone 4!
While Most of the other Tablets in the Market are Already Integrated with This features and The Biggest Rival To Apple Is Samsung Galaxy Tab.
So Now the question is whether The iPad 2 really a Tablet killer or Just a Upgrade to iPad 1 ? ie; a mere effort from Apple to not to be forgotten in market due to other Rising Tablets in the Market like Samsung Tab , HP touchpad , Motorolla XooM , Blackbery Playbook , Adam Ink ..There’s hell lot more of them.
