Android 3.0 Honeycomb just got Swyped!
The best keyboard app for Android, which makes onscreen typing fun on Android phones, is now available for Tablet PCs running Android 3.0 Honeycomb.
Swype is an app which allows you to peck away as you normally would or slide your finger around the keyboard in a manner that will allow the system to predict and understand the words you’re typing.
This new version of Swype supports many resolution sizes. In addition to that it offers typing in either landscape or portrait mode, with a special tiny mode for a single thumb in either direction as well.
It also also offers a brand new feature called ‘Predictive tap’ for those who like to type instead of Swyping, this new feature allows users to do so as the word prediction has been optimized to such an extent  that if a person enters all the letters wrong Swype will still predict the right word.
It also offers a resizable keyboard so that users need not keep the tab down while typing, now you can hold the tab in one hand and simultaneously type with the other
But this version of the app is one that’s got a few kinks left to work out, like the the stock internet browser crashes almost every time the mini keyboard is open. But this app is only for those users who are interested in using 3rd party keyboard apps.
As of now the developers of Swype have launched the beta version the full version will be made available to the users soon.
The beta version is available here.
